Mario Carrion was a Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps. Two deployments to Iraq, Two Sestpac Float, One to Afghanistan and some time as I&I Staff. His journey led him to the Pacific Northwest where he now lives.

Mario found hiking and doing photography to help keep himself healthy, physically and mentally. What started as a way to get off the couch and out the door turned into not just his favorite pastime, but also some epic adventures experiencing things he only dreamed about during those long deployments.

From the coastal ranges of Southern Oregon to the roaring thunderig glacier NP Peaks in Montana. From the sandy red rock formations of the Southwest to the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. Mario is out to explore it all!
